That's It! I've given up Crest!! I've used it all of my life but here is a recipe I picked up from DIY Natural.com and I love it!!
The Peppermint Sage Tooth Powder provides just about everything you need from a toothpaste but it is in powder form. Made with Sodium Bicarbonate (baking soda); Bentonite Clay; ground Sage leaf; Sea Salt; Xylitol and Peppermint Essential Oil. My mouth still feels minty fresh and my teeth feel clean. I've heard no complaints so far.

1.5 oz per plastic round container

Directions on use: Wet your toothbrush and dab into the tooth powder, try get as much of the powder on the brush as you can, then brush your teeth as usual. You may find that you need to re-dab your toothbrush for more powder. Spit out. You do not want to swallow the paste. Rinse., gargle and spit out.

Why did I switch? Read an article regarding fluoride. I figure it's already in my water and I drink enough of that, I don't need to intentionally apply it in my mouth as well. So the search...

Bentonite clay - Useful in eliminating toxins from heavy metals in your mouth. It is also rich in minerals that can nourish teeth and gums.

Baking soda - A trusted tooth cleanser and odor eliminator. Baking soda gently polishes teeth and naturally whitens them.

Sage - Has been recognized by many cultures for its natural tooth whitening abilities and for its astringent properties.

Sea Salt - Known for its tooth-nourishing minerals and its abilities to help in healing irritated gums.

Peppermint Essential Oil - Peppermint is known for its antibacterial, antiseptic properties and is said to have pain-relieving properties. I would recommend consulting your dentist if you suspect a medical condition. If nothing else, the use of this oil will leave your mouth with a cool, minty fresh taste.

Xylitol - Sweetener
